In the fall of 2012, after making a very difficult decision to do so, Karen and Laurel sold Skinny Dip Candles to a good friend, Patty Hagglund. After seven years nurturing and growing Skinny Dip Candles, they decided that the timing was right to move on. With health issues and other opportunities presenting themselves, it seemed a perfect time to turn the reins over to Patty. And they couldn’t envision a more perfect person to take over Skinny Dip Candles than Patty, someone who shared the same values as Karen and Laurel.
Patty had discovered Skinny Dip Candles a few years ago and quickly fell in love with the product. Good fortune brought the parties back together again and Patty became a good friend. The rest is now history – Patty is the very proud owner of Skinny Dip Candles and Karen and Laurel couldn’t be more pleased. She has great plans for the business! Patty has many years of management experience and has also previously owned two businesses. She also lovse to have a great time in her time away from work. She really enjoys motor home traveling, riding her 4-wheeler and dune buggy, cooking (especially over a campfire), and crafting (with scrapbooking being a particular passion). And, oh yes, she loves dogs and considers hers her “baby.” Patty is thrilled to be the proud new owner of Skinny Dip Candles!
